Four years prior to their marriage C. Ray was living in Olmsted falls and Mae was living in Rocky River. This is about 10 miles apart.

C. Ray and Mae were married March 30, 1904.

Bought an antique set of 6 dining room chairs. They may have gotten them in Tennessee. Philis got 3 and Ella got 3 of the chairs.. They had a curved back, light in color, cain bottom, may have rose carved at top.

  Narrative

In the 1930's, Noay Houston and wife Marrie worked on the C. Ray Perkins farm. They were from Crossville Tennessee and would come up to work the two mules, Jack and Jill. They had two boys, Opal and Vernon. When mules were no longer used, they took the mules back to Crossville and became big bean farmers.
